Kofi Domfeh

Mr. Domfeh is a Director at Alvarez and Marsal (“A&M”), a global consulting firm, where he is a member of the Corporate Restructuring practice. He advises clients on turnaround and restructuring strategies, crisis and liquidity management. At A&M, Mr. Domfeh has executed transactions in various sectors including consumer, food, pharmaceuticals, energy, and airlines.

Prior to A&M, Mr. Domfeh was a Vice President at Cayor Capital, an Africa-focused private equity firm, where he had broad responsibilities including business development, investment analyses, fundraising and was a member of the investment committee. Prior to joining Cayor Capital, Mr. Domfeh was the Founder of Arcadian Investment Partners, an investment advisory firm focused on energy investments in the US and Africa. 

Prior to Arcadian, Mr. Domfeh was a Vice President at Spencer Capital, a private equity firm, where he spearheaded investments in the finance and insurance sectors. At Spencer Capital, Mr. Domfeh was involved in the acquisition of Southwest Dealer Services and served as a Board Member of Spencer Reinsurance.

Prior to Spencer, Mr. Domfeh worked at a corporate restructuring firm, The CDG Group (currently part of FTI Consulting), where he advised clients on turnarounds and restructuring strategies. Mr. Domfeh began his career in investment banking with JPMorgan focused on leverage finance. 

Mr. Domfeh holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Pomona College, CA, and earned his MBA from the Columbia Graduate School of Business in New York, NY, where he currently resides. Mr. Domfeh enjoys tennis, chess and listening to podcasts.
