Stamford, CT – Arkview Capital, a leading minority-owned private equity fund focused on supporting NMSDC-certified minority business enterprises (MBEs), together with its portfolio companies, participated in NMSDC’s 50th Anniversary Conference and Exchange that took place in New Orleans, LA from October 29 through November 3, 2022. Arkview had the honor of being a Corporate Sponsor of the event.

The Arkview team took very active roles to support this first, in-person event since 2019. Arkview’s Ms. Joset Wright-Lacy opened the conference on the big stage together with current NMSDC CEO & President, Ms. Ying McGuire and three previous NMSDC Presidents, reflecting on all of the achievements during their tenures. Progress made under Ms. Wright-Lacy's leadership continues to have a lasting positive impact on MBEs around the country.

Mr. Albert White, Arkview Advisor and celebrated author, led a panel on disruption and the changing market landscape for MBEs. Together with panelists from Google, ExxonMobil, and KeyString Labs, Mr. White discussed how to capitalize on the new opportunities created by the seismic technological shifts taking place today.

The Arkview team had the pleasure of meeting an exceptional group of MBEs that are looking for a capital partner to scale their businesses. Arkview thanks all of the local NMSDC chapter leaders that showed their support by visiting Arkview Capital’s exhibit. Congratulations to Stacey Key, Vickie Irwin, and Tracey Grace of the Georgia Minority Supplier Development Council for winning the Council of the Year Award! One of Arkview’s portfolio companies, Metasys Technologies, is a proud member of Georgia’s NMSDC chapter.

In addition to the main NMSDC event, Arkview had the honor of participating in the Financial Services Roundtable for Supplier Diversity. “The FSRSD has a very important role to play in MBE capital formation.” says Arkview Co-Founder Vijay Mehta. “Arkview will continue providing capital to MBEs, including through our portfolio company, Genesis Bank which is one of only two multi-racial minority depository institutions (MDI) in the nation. We look forward to future collaboration opportunities with FSRSD.”
